Syed Hashim Raza is an experienced Biology educator with over 24 years of teaching experience across leading Cambridge-stream institutions in Pakistan. He holds an M.Phil in Zoology (Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, 2001) and an M.Sc. in Zoology (University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, 1997), along with a Diploma in Youth in Development Work (Commonwealth Youth Award, 2002). He currently serves as Subject Coordinator — Biology (Cambridge Stream) at Bahria College Islamabad (since September 2021), where he leads Biology instruction for Cambridge A Level, IGCSE, GCE O Level, and Edexcel O Level students. He has been awarded a Letter of Appreciation by his Principal for excellent student results over the last three years. His teaching career includes Army Public School and College, Cambridge Stream, Rawalpindi (2015–2021), Beaconhouse School System, Multan (2001–2007), and a Subject Specialist role at the Climate Change Division, Ministry of Climate Change, Islamabad (2007–2015). He has also served as Visiting Faculty in the Department of Biology (Environmental Science) at Allama Iqbal Open University since 2017, teaching M.Sc. and BS Environmental Science. He is known for excellent 2D and 3D classroom sketches, expert use of audio-visual aids and online educational tools, and a creative, student-focused approach that consistently produces outstanding results. He is a highly cooperative, self-organized, and enthusiastic teacher who is available to students both inside and outside the classroom.
