Junaid Ahmed Abbasi is an Economics educator with an MPhil in Economics and over 10 years of teaching experience across diverse curricula — from Cambridge O Level and IGCSE to undergraduate university programs. He currently teaches O Level and A Level Economics & Business Studies at Beaconhouse School System, Rawalpindi (since August 2024), and serves as Visiting Faculty at the International Center of Excellence (ICE) and previously at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. His teaching career spans leading institutions including Beaconhouse School System, Quaid-i-Azam University (2020–2025), Future World School & College H-11/4, Islamabad (2023–2024), and Roots IVY International School, Rawalpindi (2020–2023). At ICE, he has delivered undergraduate courses in Economics for BBA students and Probability & Statistics for BS Software Engineering students, as well as Foundation Economics for the International Foundation Year Program. He holds an MPhil in Economics (PMAS Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi, 2017) with a thesis on Comparative Study of Horizontal Income Inequalities between Punjab and KPK, and an MSc in Economics (2015). His research applies Gini coefficient, Theil's T, Theil's L, and Atkinson indexes to household survey data — reflecting strong quantitative and analytical expertise. Junaid is committed to developing students' analytical thinking and practical understanding of Economics, delivering engaging and student-centered instruction to both national and international learners. He has participated in the Pakistan and Korea Climate Change Summit 2022 and a seminar on minimizing plastic use globally, and has authored research reports on child labor, socio-economic impacts of sit-ins, and future visions of power and prosperity.
